02 · AI experiences

See which AI experiences find you and which do not.

One AI can recommend a business while another misses it. The Playbook shows each one separately.

Where you win and where you lose

Gemini and Google AI Mode never named you on a question that did not use your name.

When customers did not name you

These two panels answer different questions and are not comparable with each other: the first is whether AI finds you for somebody who has never heard of you, the second whether it can produce you at all when handed your name. Every rate divides by the AI searches that actually ran on that tool, never by the ones we planned.

Real Playbook results by AI experience

In this sample, Perplexity found the business far more often than Gemini or Google AI Mode.

03 · Competitors

See where competitors appear and you do not.

Instead of giving you a giant list of websites, the Playbook shows the few gaps worth checking first.

Competitor shortcut

Who is already covering the websites you’re missing?

Use this to see where competitors already have coverage and which gaps are worth closing.

What to take from this

[competitor 1] has the strongest overlap in this snapshot.

[competitor 1] appears around 27 of the websites we found and on 2 of your 2 priority websites. The useful part is not the total. It is the specific gaps competitors have already covered and you have not.

Competitor and website names are shown as placeholders, exactly as they are in the downloadable sample PDF. Your own Playbook names them.

In this sample, two websites stood out because competitors were already there and the business was not.

04 · What to do

Then it becomes a 30-day job list.

The work is put in order so you know what to fix first, what to add next and what can wait.

Your working order

Everything here fits into the next 30 days.

  1. Days 1–7Correct the listings you already have

Check the 13 listings that already mention you and correct anything wrong: address, phone, service area, categories, links and proof points. The new listings are built from these details, so getting them right first saves doing the work twice.

Done when: Every listing that already mentions you shows the same correct details.

  2. Days 8–14Close the verified gaps

Complete the 2 first-priority listing/profile actions before creating any new outreach work.

Done when: The first-priority profiles/listings are live, accurate and discoverable.

  3. Days 8–21Answer the 3 questions nothing of yours answers

Publish a clear, honest page for each of the 3 buying questions that returned you nowhere, then keep it accurate. This runs alongside the listings rather than after them: a page takes longer to be picked up than a listing takes to appear.

Done when: A page of your own answers each of those questions directly, and says something a reader could not get from the businesses AI named instead.

  4. Days 15–30Treat influence selectively

Watch the editorial sources that recur in the evidence. Only pitch where a real page-level angle and route can be defended.

Done when: No generic “please add us” outreach is sent; only checked, reader-first opportunities move forward.
