A single ChatGPT test tells you what happened in ChatGPT for that prompt. This check asks the same real customer question across ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, Grok and DeepSeek, so you can see whether your business is mentioned and which businesses appear instead.

How the check works
We put one customer question to six AI assistants through their developers' APIs: ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, Grok and DeepSeek. Each gives one answer. Perplexity searches the web as it answers; the other five answer from what their model already knows, so results can differ from what you see in each assistant's own app. A business counts as named only when its name or website appears in the answer. Answers vary with wording and over time, so treat the result as a snapshot.
An example result
We ran the check for an independent children's speech therapy practice, asking: "Which speech therapist for kids would you recommend in Howard County, Maryland?" Perplexity named the practice. The other five recommended other local clinics, a children's hospital and a specialist institute, or pointed the parent to their paediatrician or an online directory. The answers cited 12 websites, including a speech therapy directory.
